I was exceptionally pleased with this cover 72" tabel and chair cover, especially at the very reasonable price. I will be using it under a covered porch, so I cannot comment on the waterproofing or sun-fade resistance. From experience however, I would assume it is highly water resistant as it is a quite durable material with welded seams and has a solid vinyl backing. I would recommend propping it up in the center for drainage, and so it does not lay flat on a table surface where it would likely trap and retain moisture. It's is flexible enough to quickly spread it over my table and 4 chairs, but heavy enough that I cannot imagine it tearing or puncturing while handling, or even in a severe wind (cannot comment on strength after long-term exposure to sun). The main seams appear to be single stitched on the outside, but underneath are actually double-stitched and welded. The only single stitching is the vent screen near the bottom, which does not take much strain. For wind retainment, there are four, long and wide velcro leg ties, and a robust pull-cord around the lower perimeter if needed.Size-wise, when set up my chairs are 66 inches apart. It easily accommodates them, and is not overly floppy looking. When I pulled the top taut to measure it, it looked like it would barely accommodate a realistic maximum of 70 inches diameter. Based on the medium-heavy weight of the material and good construction, I would highly recommend it for protection from dust and rain spray IF set up properly so it does not collect large pockets of water.
