Safavieh needs to put a little more time into quality assurance. The first time I ordered this it arrived with broken pieces and all right side arms, no left side arms were included. The packaging was not great so the broken pieces was not a huge surprise. Amazon was great about coming to exchange it, picking up the old and dropping off a replacement. The replacement had some blemishes but did not have any broken pieces but, unbelievably, the second set also contained all right side arms, no left. I felt like I must be mad, but in fact, it’s true, all right side arms indeed and no, the right side arm could not be used as a left. Amazon was extremely helpful and is fully refunding me and removing the product from their site until they are able to investigate the issue and check out their entire inventory. I was definitely impressed with Amazon customer service throughout the journey. As for the actual product if there had been no issues. You just have to know that this is low price point, low end furniture. There is a reason that the quality stuff is 3-8 times the price. That being said the design is nice in the quality is pretty good for the price. The cushions are thin and the material is quite sheer. The wood looks decent but the finish seems pretty thin, it seems like you would definitely have to keep up on treating the word if it’s going to be outside in any elements. Do to the extremely space and weight efficient packaging, I feel it would be pretty unlikely to receive this kit without some amount of damaged corners and blemishes at minimum. As for the instructions, there are three different width pieces, The side to side frame rails, back and bottom come in two long two medium and one short. It does not specify in the instructions which ones go with which chair. The short ones definitely have to go with the center of the sectional sofa because of the quantity. The medium and the long could go with the outer sofa sections or with the armchairs. I was never actually able to complete building the kit due to the lack of left side arms so I can’t give you a definitive answer but my feelings are that the wider pieces go on the armchairs but you will not know until your all done and the cushions don’t fit right. Best of luck!
