Nice sizeI've had this for a little over two years now. This was the third summer I had it. It sits on a covered south-facing balcony out of direct sunlight. Up until this year, it was fine. This summer, we had a heatwave where the temperature on my balcony exceeded 100F for about 4 or 5 days in a row. The next time I checked the box I noticed that the back panel had warped. There is now a gap between the back panel and the back of the lid, which limits its usefulness.I'm sure it would work fine in a shady spot, covered, out of the elements, where it never gets very hot. Somewhere like a porch with a roof on the north side of the building would probably work, so long as the temperature doesn't get very high.Everythin was fine with this unit execpt for the lid. The lid ends on one side did not stay together. i called Keter and even gave them pictures. They said they would send out another lid assy but never did. Crappy customer service in my opinion. It is a nice unit so after them not sending me one i Mcgiver it it with screws into that side piece which would never stay tight. Overall besides that a desent product. This was very easy to put together and holds a good amount.I bought this storage unit to fit my outdoor cushions in during the rain. I know they are waterproof but to be on the safe side I wanted to keep them as dry as possible. This unit was a "snap" to put together. When closed the lid does to completely line up with he rest of it. It is off a little and I have to place a lock in the holes to keep the lid from going to one side or the other to keep everything dry. However, it does keep the contents being stored dry. The other thing, it is not tall enough for my cushions to fit and my cushions are average size. With that being said, this also forces the lid not to close all the way because the cushions have to be on an angle to get them lower in the unit. I continue to use a lock to hold the top down but it smushes the cushions. And because the cushions are on an angle it takes up space and I am not able to fit everything in. It's not a bad product, but next time I'd get one a little tallerI bought this Bc loved the color and size for our deck—I use it to hold seat cushions and some larger chaise /hammock pads n pillows. It is roomy, easy to assemble, but the lid sits on TOP of the frame and doesn’t snap down over the edge or lip of the base (which would make it a bit more secure and sturdy feeling when you open and close lid. It is pretty light weight, and not as heavy-duty as I would have wanted, which has advantages if you need to move it around, but I would prefer heavy n sturdy to flimsy n easy to move. However, it is not so light weight that It blows around on our deck! Just had a light weight feel. Kinda like(The dif between closing a car door to a Buick and then expecting the same heft when you close the door to a Hyundai Accent.) Since we are susceptible to high winds and heavy rain where we are, I was looking for waterproof as possible without paying hundreds of dollars and I am quite pleased at how Dry everything stays. No sign of dampness or Rain getting in anywhere. To that end, it is a great product! We secure the lid with a tiny padlock which helps keep the Lid aligned with the base. Because the lid and base rest on one another, this lock (which we don’t actually LOCK, but just hook thru the hole) keeps the upper and lower edges together. If you overpack the base, causing sides toBulge at all (that will happen, and it’s what I meant by not heavy duty), the top and bottomWon’t align and water could possibly get in.When you open/close the lid, there is a little “hitch” in the motion—the rising and lowering of lid is not entirely smooth. My husband assures me this is due to the way the lid and base are connected or hinges...but It bugs me simply because it feels like something’s in the way at first, but I have grown accustomed to it. Great storage and look! And kept our stuff dry so far despite several severe rains and storms. This box is everything you'd hope for -- light enough to move easily, and indeed very strong. This is down to the materials, the resin hard construction, but equally the very clever mechanical design. The pieces ship flat in a box, and once you reckon the orientation, the snap together in the order given on the instruction sheet. You can feel the rigidity building up, how well engineered this is, and when finished, you have a nice-looking, very sturdy item for any uses -- which still could be disassembled and built again for a move. And inside, it's nearly as roomy as the dimensions. There are many touches -- the ventilation which is also water protective so that rain doesn't get in is one more of the careful design. Putting it together will like two persons, just to hold thing until they support themselves, if I managed it with one. A rubber hammer would be ideal to tap the connecting edges together, but again they are well designed, and with thoughtfulness, I was able to do this without bruising, just using the palm of a hand.I was in the process of purchasing the Keter 71 gallon and then ran across this 90 gallon, it was only $3 more!!! Now I see it's over $100......I got it for $70!! When I ordered it, it was on back order which was fine....willing to wait.....I put in the order and 2 days later it was shipping early! I got the brown/brown, put it together fairly easy, it would have been easier with 2 people. I had to use a soft mallet to get the parts to click in, my hands weren't strong enough to click. This has lots of storage, using it in the garage for small garden tools and blower. Don't know about it being weather proof as not leaving it outside in the Arizona sun. Keter makes all different sizes so do some price shopping first, unless you absolutely know which size you have to have. It's a good product.Just arrived the other day. Easy to put together, good size and pretty solid. Will have to wait and see how it holds up to Quebec winters. For the price though, I'll be happy if it lasts 2-3 yearsI have been looking for a storage box for a while that was big enough for what we needed and a good price. This one fit the bill! It was so easy to assemble, literally took 5 minutes and it was ready to go. We are very pleased.Easy to assemble, the color matches our house and you can have 2 adults sit on it no problem.I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a cleaner yard.*Update* The back corner that connects the lid to the bin broke off after opening it a couple of times,Love this outdoor storage box! So easy to assemble, lightweight yet sturdy enough to sit on. Rainproof so far so good. Plenty of room for throw cushions and looks classy!Easy to put together. 3 min for two persons. 5 to 10 min if you do it alone. My boyfriend would fit in them - very spacious. Wish they come in different colours. So far the water has not got in.
