Used this on a rainy LA night without any issues, worked great in my DMX system. Comes with all the instructions for operation and is well built, this thing will surely last, even if tossed around a bit. It's great! This is the second HoldLamp LED par fixture that I own, and I am very impressed. I own a variety of other LED par fixtures, from very inexpensive "home party" units to high-end professional units. While this Holdlamp LED par isn't up to the standard of a high end fixture that would be used in a touring show, it is certainly more tham suitable for DJ's, churches, schools, small theaters and and similar uses. The 18 RGBW LED's draw a combined 180 watts, which is quite bright (remember that the amount of light produced per watt for an LED lamp is far greater than for incadescent lamps, so the output of this light is equivalent to a 900-1000 watt incadecent fixture). It has all of the DMX features and controls one would find in a professional DMX fixture, and it is very solidly built. Unlike other DMX fixtures, it has a large aluminum heat sink, rather that fan, which is one of the key reasons the light is waterproof (it also has a plexiglass shield over the LED beads and uses membrane buttons). Unlike the other HoldLamp fixture that advertised that it was waterproof but wasn't, this one truly is. The price to quality ratio for this light is excellent. This is great for outdoor events. It's waterproof and the advanced heatsink means it can be used in hotter climates. I'm planning on using it at Burning Man. It's bright and easy to control. Even easier if you use the DMX interface.
