I love the bar stools! Just be prepared to spend some time assembling. You will need a rubber mallet, an extra set of hands, and some skill. Not all the dowels fit perfectly together, some of them broke before getting all the way in, but you can make it work. I applied a coat of teak oil, which darkened stools significantly, but now they are protected from the elements and they look great in my new & fabulous outdoor kitchen/arbor.Purchased 4 of these for an outdoor bar. Went together easily; however, I did spend a good 3 hours assembling, sanding, and applying a single coat of tung oil to the stools. The look great next to my teak bar top; get a lot of compliments on the stools. Very solid/sturday relative to other stools that I looked at in the same or more expensive price range.Love it!
