I bought 6 of theses and they are a very decent umbrella however they are not wind proof by any stretch. You certainly can't just leave them up and go away for the afternoon. They can tolerate some wind but when the wind picked up a little more on one sunny day, one of my umbrella poles snapped off and broke near the top portion. It was still within the return period so I learned my lesson. Just know that if the wind picks up a bit where you see these umbrellas shaking a little too much you are better off closing them up until the wind dies down.I bought 2 of these umbrellas because the first one I bought some time back came out good.The color is steadfast and attractive in the garden, the price is right, the item is sturdy, and durable.I would give this a five star except I cannot reach the adjustment to tip the umbrella to a side to maximize sun blocking. I am 5'6".These are great! I have a large concrete area on the side of my house that gets full hot Central California sun that heats up my kitchen and makes my A/C work hard and drives up my electric bill.The umbrellas work perfect! They keep the heat down but still allow the light into my kitchen window.I like that they can be moved around. I bought heavy duty 40 pound metal bases. They do not come with a base. These umbrellas are not supposed to be free standing but these heavy bottomed bases keep them up. If you live in a windy area then they would definitely blow over, but we don't so it's fine.They do tilt but it's only one setting. That's one thing I don't like. I would prefer to have a few tilting settings. The height is not adjustable but that's fine. Sitting in the base, they are plenty tall enough.I'm very happy with these and I plan on buying a couple more to get more coverage.This umbrella is sturdy. It protects and stays out even in high wind. It has not discolored even though it’s been in the sun all summer. Great color assortment. We chose the forest green to go with other patio furnitureThis is a nice, large umbrella that is bright and light. It covers our table and chairs nicely and seems to repel water wonderfully. I was concerned that I would have to open it up after a rain to let it dry but that hasn't been the case. Although it tilts, I haven't needed to use it. The one improvement I would recommend is to lower the handle. It is fairly high up on the pole so when you open or close it, you have trouble seeing what you are doing. Other than that, I am very pleased with it.An update…seller was kind and courteous taking care of the issue in a timely manner. They are an ok company. The umbrella is definitely easy to get up and down. Light weight aluminum that when a small gust of wind came up for a moment the umbrella ended up on the roof broken. Not like my others that let air pass easily though the top..this one doesn’t fair well. Pretty color but not sturdy at all. Wish they had used a thicker aluminum.We love how wonderful this looks on our patio! The brown/tan stripes adds class to the look - and was just what we were wanting.Easy to put up and down.Muy buena. Me encantó.
