It’s a great set for a front porch. Sturdy wood with some refined elements. You will need to wax it if you want it to last in the elements though . Easy enough to-do. Great value overall.Furniture as expected, not difficult to assemble, screws exposed. Cushions very thin, better off not using them or buying replacementa. Contacted seller after receiving box and all screws were broken open causung damage to several pieces of wood during shipment. Sent photos and requested replacemt of the two most damaged pieces. Seller responded okay but never provided replacement pieces or shipping label. Never heard from seller again. Such is life. The furniture we received was in good condition. Putting it together was easy enough. It is SMALL however. It would be good or an apartment patio/deck. I'm average size 5'7" 150# and it's comfortable enough for me but if you are looking for a more roomy or plush seating, this isn't it. Anyone heavier, closer to 200#, it wouldn't be as good of a choice, it cracks and creaks under a lot of weight and the people just look awkward sitting on it. It serves it's function I suppose. Good luck.Came well packaged so the minor damage that I found on various parts must have been due to manufacturing not shipping. Parts were well protected from each other but they used paper in between some parts that stuck to the wood and was difficult to remove. This is not teak but "teak colored" FYI. It is that tight-grained lightweight wood that seems to be used in a lot of products that come from China/Asia (I think Acacia?). Went together easily and seemed pretty solid. I have an ongoing complaint about products like this that there are no directions regarding torque and it is easy to strip the wood if you overtighten the screws. Pads are just on the edge of being too thin (I saw the back pads first which are very thin and thought YIKES!). I can't imagine this being outside furniture however. I suspect rain and sun will age this to yuckiness in less than a year. I am using it in a sun room and believe it will be fine. For the price I was satisfied. While these chairs were easy to put together and comfortable to sit on, it was bothersome that it seems that in order to keep up with demand, the chairs were boxed while the stain was still wet, and, as a result, the cardboard stuck to almost every piece in some manner. It’s insanely difficult to remove cardboard that has bonded to wood via stain. The set arrived in a single undamaged large box. However, the wood was not well finished and was scratched and scuffed on many/most areas. Feels very flimsy. I ended up selling it for less than half of what I paid within 30 mins of assembly because I was so unhappy with it and didn’t want to deal with having to unassemble and repackage it for a return. Seating is very shallow and uncomfortable. If you keep existing cushions, they are very thin as well. Do not recommend.Very easy to assemble, comfortable and petite, we dislike bulky furniture, so this is perfectI liked the set very much, but the back of one of the chairs arrived broken and customer service from the seller has not returned my email. I think I will have to send the whole set back to Amazon, unfortunately.
