I was excited to find these since they coordinate with our other Adirondack chairs on the front patio but have the bonus of being rocking chairs. I also wanted real wood. I’m not a fan of the plastic composites.Positives: The chairs look great, and are perfect for the intended purpose. They are quite comfortable and appear to be pretty sturdy. I will note that my husband, son and I are all under 200 pounds.Negatives: Assembly was crazy. It can be done with one person but is way easier with two people, and took about 30 minutes or less per chair. I will note that I have assembled A LOT of furniture over the years. I am a visual person and mechanically inclined, so I can often figure things out without the instructions. The document that came in the box was horrible. I will caution that the parts are not labeled and you have to be very careful to ensure that you have the left and right sides correct so that the piece that creates the rocker can be installed. We had to use some force to get some of the pieces aligned. We also ended up with screws at the end that had no obvious place to be installed. We put in screws everywhere there were holes. In one step the instructions say to use 12 screws but point to 4 locations. The angled braces on the front were a bit of a guess as to exact installation. The chairs are supposed to be rustic but the paint job is pretty uneven. One of the chairs has a bottom brace that has a significant split in the wood (note photo). The bolts for the rocker are also a bit long and could be an issue for catching a foot.Overall, I am happy with the chairs but would have expected better quality for the price. We will see how durable they are….Nice chair, however, we had to buy hardware to put it together as the package that came with the chair didn’t include long enough bolts. Instructions are photos only. If you like a good puzzle, you’ll enjoy this purchase and have a nice chair when you complete the project. If your not in for a puzzle or don’t know what a hardware store is, you might forgo this purchase and find a preassembled chair. Either way your purchase will give you a really nice pile of sturdy wood pieces or a sturdy, great looking chair. Good Luck ???Great quality made in America. Customer service is awesome! It could use better directions for putting it together my husband had to take it apart twice before he figured out the right way to put it together and it did crack on one of the legs when he screwed it together with the bolts it's fairly comfortable but not very smooth like you could get a splinter if you weren't careful I do like that it rocks and I have sealed it with a outdoor stain so that I can keep it outside and I put a cushion in it and now it's fairly comfyInstructions not very goodSimple, rustic design that’s easy to put together. Rough cut look that’s comfortable and should last under our front porch. Used a clear urethane to coat after assembling to keep the natural look but add some weather protection.Could not assemble due to defects. Pegs on back couldn’t line up with corresponding drill holes of the seat. Several cracks in the wood I received (see pics). I contacted supplier, provided them with pictures shown here and was told they’d send me a check for $45 to locate a repair shop to make necessary repairs or I could buy some other product the sell (really?). I declined. Will return.Really enjoy my rocker but I do recommend staining the wood and a cushion makes it even more comfortable.
