I used on an old ladder that I hung from the ceiling on my porch. I didn't want an electrical cord but also didnt want to keep getting a ladder to turn on/off. Battery Operated with remote...perfect!I should have known…….looks like a huge roll in picture even though length is clearly stated. About a quarter of the length I had pictured.I used these lights to cover a beach ball to use for our New Years Ball Drop. They worked beautifully.Everything’s great on the product, I left the spool on the end to make it easier to pack back up into the box after use.I bought these over a year ago and they’re still going! I used a pickle jar to keep the remote in and just don’t close the lid all the way so I don’t break the wire. Then I covered that with a cut piece of waterproof fabric and put it in a plant hanger. Works great!Put these around front white board in classroom. It give such a warm light that the kids prefer over the classroom fluorescent lights. The remote control is a great addition too since the setting I like is the last one.Lined a walkway. Perfect amount of light.Absolutely love! But wish still light would be the first setting as I turn it on, so I wouldn’t have to look for the setting that is still light. Gorgeous, however
